LEI (Legal Entity Identifier) is a 20-digit number used to uniquely identify parties to financial transactions worldwide and is required and recommended by the Reserve Bank of India for participants in the over the counter (OTC) markets and entities who undertake large value transactions (₹50 crore and above).
